Terms of Service

The terms that govern your use of mc-q.ca and any orders placed through it.

Effective date: June 29, 2026

These Terms govern your use of mc-q.ca (the “Site”) and any products or services offered through it. By using the Site or submitting an order, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.

About Mc. Q

Mc. Q is a wholesale food packaging and restaurant supply business based in Calgary, Alberta. Our products and pricing are intended for business customers — restaurants, caterers, food service operators, and other commercial buyers.

Eligibility

By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, that you are placing the order on behalf of a business, and that you are authorized to do so.

The Site and its content

We work to keep product descriptions, images, specifications, and pricing accurate, but we don't warrant that everything on the Site is error-free or current. We may correct errors and change prices, descriptions, or product availability at any time without notice.

Orders

Submitting an order through the Site is a request, not a binding contract. Once we receive it, we will follow up to confirm pricing, availability, and delivery arrangements. The order becomes binding only when we confirm it. We may decline or cancel any order at our discretion.

Pricing and taxes

Prices on the Site are in Canadian dollars. Alberta GST (5%) applies to taxable goods and is shown separately. Prices are subject to change.

Payment

Payment is arranged separately from the Site — we do not process payment online. Payment terms will be communicated by invoice.

Shipping and delivery

Delivery arrangements, timing, and costs will be confirmed with each order. Risk of loss passes to you when the goods are delivered to you or to the carrier, as applicable.

Returns

Contact us promptly to discuss returns. Custom items, special orders, and certain food-contact products may not be returnable. We'll work with you in good faith on legitimate concerns.

Intellectual property

The Site — including its text, images, logos, layout, and design — is owned by Mc. Q or used with permission. You may not copy, redistribute, or use any part of it for commercial purposes without our written permission.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • violate any applicable law or regulation;
  • interfere with the operation or security of the Site;
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site;
  • submit false, misleading, or fraudulent orders or inquiries; or
  • scrape, harvest, or extract data from the Site through automated means.

Disclaimers

The Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, except to the extent such disclaimers are prohibited by law.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mc. Q will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or any products purchased through it. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the products giving rise to the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Mc. Q harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. The courts of Alberta have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
